Tom and Alison met in the summer of 2017. Although they lived in different cities (she in Oakland and he in San Diego), a connection began to form. They bonded over art, music, and adventure. Six months later, she moved to San Diego to be closer to her family. From there, they began dating and spending more time together. As they made, their love grew. Pretty soon, they lived together near the beach before buying a home and settling in Poway. They got engaged in January 2021.
